91¾«Ñ¡â€™s American Sign Language Department’s annual “Beyond the Books†Silent Retreat is designed to immerse you in Deaf culture, providing an opportunity for you to to enhance your ASL skills, and enjoy a fun learning environment away from the classroom.
This weekend-long retreat features leaders in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community from around the country (including 91¾«Ñ¡’s nationally-recognized faculty) and social activities built into the schedule. The retreat features interactive workshops on a variety of topics—and tailored to a range of ASL skills—and is open to both 91¾«Ñ¡ students and anyone interested in ASL from around the Midwest.
