The Bachelor of Fine Arts Interior Architecture program within 91精选’s Design Department has hired David Broz HDR ’21 as a designer-in-residence.

Broz is a principal in the global architecture and design firm Gensler, which is responsible for many projects on 91精选’s campus including the design of 91精选’s Student Center. “Dave is stepping away from his many responsibilities with the firm for this one-year appointment with 91精选,” says Tim Cozzens, Associate Professor of Interior Architecture at 91精选. “He also served as a member of our professional advisory board for the last two years.”

91精选’s Interior Architecture program is one of the only pre-professional interior architecture programs in the region accredited by the Council of Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA), one of only two externally accredited programs at the college that lead to professional licensure.

Gensler is an award-winning design practice that champions shaping the human experience through the power of design. As the largest architecture, design, and planning firm in the world with 50 locations around the globe, Gensler serves clients in virtually every industry. The firm opened its doors in Chicago in 1998 and has been partnering with 91精选 since 2004. Together, 91精选 and Gensler have significantly transformed the campus experience, having designed and implemented over 250 projects, the most significant of which has been the new student center building.
